About Us
Some Assembly Required
Hebrews 10:24-25 teaches that Christians need to gather—“And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching.” We need what our Lord Jesus distributes to us as we fellowship together around His Word and Blessed Sacraments.
Our Savior Lutheran Church invites you to receive Christ’s gifts with us.
We are known for:
- Faithfulness to the Lutheran Confessions
- Christ-centered, Biblical, timely preaching
- Members of all ages
- Historic, meaningful liturgy
- Well-attended Bible Classes
- Strong singing
- Bold, Christ-confessing art work, including the 160 foot Te Deum Polyptych that surrounds the congregation, several carvings, and a life-sized portrait of the Resurrected Christ.
Many college students have been glad to call our church a home away from home. Our Savior Church members have been delighted to welcome Calvin College, Aquinas College, Grand Valley State University, and Davenport University students.
